A well deserved rest day

We initially said Thursday would be a rest day and then changed our mind when we saw the weather. Then we said Friday would be a rest day, until we realised that it was due to be a bit wet on Saturday so we may as well carry on making good use of the weather. By the time Saturday arrived we were both feeling the need for a break and didn’t mind when we looked out of the balcony in the morning and saw the rain.

We thought we would take this opportunity to go to the launderette (which we then discovered is closed on Saturday), visit the museum, wander around the farmers market and have some lunch (salad and beer) before visiting the bakery we had had our eye on since the beginning of the week. On route to the bakery I saw a wee Whippet which reminded me of Ivor, though this one was slightly overweight and it’s legs looked a bit buckled.

The afternoon was spent reading and having tea in the Hotel and I dozed off a few times as well.
